Does exercise play a part in Wellness? What if you hate certain exercises regimes like me? So what!!! One thing I have learnt though is that it is important to do something for physical exercise and I did find options that worked for me, maybe they will work for you too.
Don't compare yourself to others
I am my own unique person, my own unique me and when I stopped beating myself up because I kept comparing myself to my friends who went jogging, cycling, gyming etc and looked at it from a different perspective, guess what? Yes. I found what worked for me, what suited me. Something I could and would do and stick to. Till I found something different to try or investigate which has happened, often, but, I was still doing physical exercise, and better off for it.
So let me share just one avenue I have used, enjoyed and it worked.
Healthy is an outfit that looks different on everybody.
Exercise trampoline
This is where I started off. I was not going to a gym. It was expensive, and I don't have transport so I would have to Uber and I tried gyming enough to know it was not for me. So, I got an exercise trampoline. I never did more than 10 minutes a day. I did walking, skip walking, bouncing with bending my knees slightly and gentle jumping.
Guess what the result was? I dropped 2 dress sizes!!! I came down from XXXXL to XXL (sometimes even and XL depending on the style).
I had better circlulation in my legs and feet, I felt better in general, my breathing improved (I'm asthmatic so that is a big one for me). Most important I lost all that weight and I felt so much better - on every level!!
